42. Sandy

You know who is an amazing person? Sandy. One of the amazing things about Sandy is she doesn’t think she is amazing.

I once spent a year calling Sandy every week. We were in a training class with Shawn, and part of our training was to do The Work of Byron Katie once a week. And so we did.

It was quite an experience to call someone every week for a year and to get real.

Byron Katie is one of my heroines, and I suspect I will get around to doing a post on her, but in the meantime it is helpful to know that she has a series of 4 questions.

So I've got this process, and I've got my partner Sandy, and every week for 52 weeks we call each other up and ask the same 4 questions.

You might think this would get old. But instead it got bold. And courageous and sweet and exhausting and generous and clean.

Sandy is brave. She is willing to face her fears head on.

Sandy is organized. She can organize a party, a spice shelf, a shuttle launch, a herd of cats, a move to Boston, an inbox.

And Sandy has a big heart. It is deep in her DNA. If she can help you, she will!
